What is wax
Waxing is one such a technology suitable for preservation of fruits and vegetables. By this method we can increase the shelf life of agro-produce by more than 2-3 weeks. This gives breathing time for marketing.
Wax prevents evaporates of water in the produce. So by increasing the layer of the wax, shelf life can be increased. This is special type of wax made from various natural resources like carnauba,shellac,veg. oil etc.
